The thunderbolt or diamond, which destroys all kinds of ignorance and is itself indestructible. The vajra is also a symbol of Indra. In tantric rituals the vajra symbolises the male principle held in the right hand, while the bell resting in the left hand symbolises the female principle. Their interaction leads to enlightenment. The Tibetan name for "Vajra" is „Dorje".
