Jambhala is the god of wealth, merchants and traders as well as the guardian of the treasures of the earth. As a deity, he grants wealth not only for personal gain but also for the well-being of the general public. His benevolent nature makes Jambhala, also known as Kubera, a highly valued figure in spiritual practices.

In this depiction, Jambhala is sitting relaxed in Lalit Asana on a lotus pedestal. His right leg is slightly extended forward, while his right foot rests on a smaller lotus pedestal, with the sole touching a seashell. He is bearded, indicating the prosperity he represents. Jambhala wears a five-tiered crown and luxurious jewelry, typical of a Bodhisattva. In his right hand, he holds a Jambhara, a citrus fruit, and in his left hand, he holds a mongoose (Nakula) that spits out jewels. Behind his head floats a drop-shaped aureole, highlighting his sacred and exalted presence.

The gilded statue is richly decorated with fine spiral-shaped, silvered filigree ornaments accented with colored stones. These details give the statue a harmonious aesthetic and also demonstrate the masterful craftsmanship expressed in its design.

The statue was made in Nepal, a country rich in spiritual heritage and artistic tradition. It is a handcrafted work that can be understood as a true testament to dedication.

Whether you are a collector of spiritual art or seeking the blessing of abundance, the Jambhala statue—a striking Kubera figure—invites you to integrate the spirit of prosperity and generosity into your life. Its presence reminds us that wealth, when generously shared, can be multiplied in especially meaningful ways.
