Ganesha, the widely revered deity, symbolizes the virtues of wisdom, the removal of obstacles, and happy new beginnings. In Tantric Buddhism, he is known as Vinayaka/Ganapati, who ensures that obstacles are cleared away.
Ganesha sits in a relaxed posture, Lalit Asana on a lotus pedestal. He wears a jewel-studded crown, ratna mukuta, and has a third eye on his forehead. This Ganesha statue has four arms. The upper hand on his left side holds an axe, which serves as a tool for removing obstacles. In the other hand, he holds sweets called laddu, which symbolize blessings and abundance. His trunk rests on the laddu. The two hands on the right side hold an Akshamala (rosary) and a radish, emphasizing his role as the protector of learning and knowledge. His mala is a snake. The snake symbolizes power and wisdom and is associated with spiritual transformation and enlightenment. His faithful companion, the rat beside his left knee, represents intelligence and determination, helping Ganesha overcome challenges.
The garment, the silk ribbon around his shoulders, and the lotus pedestal of the Ganapati statue are adorned with fine spirally arranged filigree ornaments and accented with colored stones. On the left foot, a Zdi pearl is set in the filigree.
This Lord Ganapati Murti is a work of art and a guide to spirituality. When the figure adorns your meditation altar or puja room, it invites Ganesha's divine energy to accompany your journey. Every detail reflects reverence for this deity. Adorn your sacred space with this embodiment of devotion and new beginnings.
