Manjushree
Manjushree is one of the three great bodhisattvas along with Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani. He helps to overcome ignorance and gain wisdom. Manjushree is invoked in the morning to cast out the demons of darkness and bring light with his flaming sword. Therefore, Manjushree is also known as the bodhisattva of knowledge and learning.
The Black (Blue) Manjushree is the healing form of Manjushree, used to remove internal and external obstacles. He is one of the Thirteen Golden Dharmas of Sakya.
The body is a copper cast, the face, abdomen, forearms and feet are carved from lapis lazuli and fitted into the metal body, the metal is filigreed, silver-plated and fire-gilt, decorated with set turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli.
You can use this figurine for many different purposes such as meditation, yoga, various Buddhist festivals and even as a precious interior decoration.
