Shakyamuni Buddha

Shakyamuni Buddha Statue with teardrop-shaped Nimbus. The figure and the Nimbus are decorated with fine filigree ornamentation and embedded with turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli stones.

To distinguish the historical Buddha from the transcendental Buddhas, he is called Shakyamuni Buddha. Buddha Shakyamuni sits in the meditation posture Dhyanasana (cross-legged with feet on the calves and soles visible upwards, also called Lotus or Diamond position). With his right hand, he touches the earth in the Bhumisparsa Mudra, and his left hand holds the Dhyana Mudra (gesture of meditation).

Cast copper body, wax casting technique, decorated with fine filigree ornamentation, silver-plated and gold-plated, set with turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli. The face is finished in gold.

You can use this figure for many different purposes, such as for yoga, meditation sessions, various Buddhist festivals, and even as valuable interior decoration.
