Shakyamuni Buddha
To distinguish the historical Buddha from the transcendent Buddhas, it is commonly called Shakyamuni Buddha. Buddha Shakyamuni usually sits in the Dhyanasana meditation posture, legs crossed with the feet on the calves and the soles of the feet visibly facing upwards, also called the lotus or diamond posture. With his right hand he touches the earth in the Bhumisparsa Mudra, the left he holds in the Dhyana Mudra gesture of meditation.on).
Body cast from copper, silver-plated and gold-plated, set with fine filigree ornamentation and synthetic precious stones in the colors ruby red, emerald green and lapis lazuli blue. The face is set in gold.
