This handcrafted Ushnishavijaya statue, also known as Namgyalma, is an artistically crafted symbol of long life, purification, and protection from obstacles in Vajrayana Buddhism.
The figure sits in the closed lotus position (Padma Asana), which represents inner balance and meditative tranquility. It bears three crowns, each with a third eye—signifying transcendent wisdom. Its eight arms hold meaningful attributes such as a Buddha figure, double vajra, Amrita vessel, bow and arrow, noose, and protective mudras.
The Varada Mudra and Abhaya Mudra symbolize the power of blessing, protection, and fearlessness. The bow and arrow dispel negativity, while the double vajra represents indestructible truth.
Made from copper using the traditional lost-wax casting process, the statue impresses with its warm, oxidized surface and detailed craftsmanship. Small turquoise stones highlight the jewelry and lend the artwork an noble appearance.
This special statue is ideally suited as a spiritual decoration in the living room, as a visual focal point on the Buddhist home altar, or as a gift for those interested in mindfulness and meditation.
