Akshobhya Buddha
Akshobhya Buddha Statue - The Source of Untiring Purification.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Akshobhya Buddha. His name means "unshakable," and his presence is of great significance in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. Akshobhya, the fifth of the Dhyani Buddhas or Wisdom Buddhas, resides in the eastern direction and radiates a sublime calm. In Tibet, he is revered as "Mitrugpa," the one who is never disturbed by anger or aggression.
A symbol of purification and transformation
Buddha Akshobhya plays a prominent role in the Tantras and is central to Vajrayana Buddhism. His distinctive appearance, with an upright vajra scepter in his left hand and his right hand touching the earth in the Bhumisparsha mudra, is not found in any other Buddhist figure. This iconic appearance is unique. In addition, jeweled ornaments and a majestic crown adorn him, as is customary for Tantric Buddhas.
The power of purification
The Buddha Akshobhya meditation emphasizes the notion that all sentient beings can purify even the deepest of virtues through his blessings and abandonment of unvirtuous behavior. In the Akshobhya Sutra, even Buddha Sakyamuni personally praised the tireless devotion of Akshobhya, which has saved countless beings from the intense suffering of the lower states of existence.
The essence of reliability and purity.
Akshobhya Buddha is associated with the East and the element of space, symbolized by the circle. His cosmic element is water, and his mudra, gesture, is the earth touch in the Bhumisparsha mudra. His chakra is the heart, which emphasizes his reliability.
