Discover the timeless grace of the Green Tara statue. Green Tara or Shyama Tara is a compassionate deity who helps her devotees overcome obstacles and clear the path to the realization of their goals. Also known as Shyama Tara, she is revered and cherished as a fully enlightened female Buddha.

This intricately crafted statue reflects the serenity and active readiness of Green Tara. She sits in the Lalitasana pose with her right leg stretched out in front on a small lotus base, showing her readiness to stand up at any time and rush to the aid of those in need. Her right hand shows the Varada Mudra of generosity, while her left hand holds a blue lotus (Utpala) in the Vitarka Mudra. The three raised fingers of the left hand represent the three jewels of Buddhism - Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

In Tibetan tradition, Green Tara is considered a manifestation in all virtuous women. She is also revered as a historical figure: Princess Bhrikuti, who spread Buddhism in Tibet and China.

Masterfully handcrafted in Nepal, this figurine honors the region's traditional Buddhist art and cultural heritage. It is ideal for the home altar, meditation room, or as a meaningful decoration for your home.
