Jambhala is the god of wealth, merchants, and traders, as well as the guardian of the earth's treasures. As a deity, he grants wealth not only for personal gain but for the benefit of the community. His selfless nature makes Jambhala, also known as Kubera, a highly valued figure in spiritual practices.

In this depiction, Jambhala sits in Lalit Asana on a magnificent lotus pedestal. His right leg is slightly extended forward, while his right foot rests on a smaller lotus pedestal, with the sole of his foot touching a shell. He has a round belly, indicating the prosperity he represents. Jambhala wears a five-pointed crown and magnificent ornaments that are typical for a Bodhisattva. In his right hand, he holds a Jambhara, a citrus fruit symbolizing abundance and prosperity, while he holds a mongoose (Nakula) in his left hand that spits jewels. Behind his head hovers a drop-shaped halo, highlighting his sacred and exalted presence.

The gold-plated statue is richly decorated with fine spirally arranged, silver-plated filigree ornaments accentuated with genuine stones. The tongue and jewel cluster of the mongoose are set in coral. The filigree and natural stone details lend the statue a harmonious aesthetic and at the same time testify to the masterful craftsmanship that goes into its design.

The statue was made in Nepal, a country rich in spiritual heritage and artistic tradition. It is a handcrafted work that can be understood as a true testament of dedication.

Whether you are a collector of spiritual art or seeking the blessing of abundance, the Jambhala statue - an impressive figure of Kubera - invites you to integrate the spirit of prosperity and generosity into your life. Its presence serves as a reminder that wealth, when generously shared, can be multiplied in particularly meaningful ways.
