Padmasambhav, Guru Ripoche with consort in Yab-Yum
Padmasambhav, Guru Ripoche with consort in Yab-Yum
Padmasambhava is depicted sitting on a lotus, his two legs evenly bent, his consort sitting on his lap. His right hand holds the vajra and her right hand holds the kartika, the curved knife of the dakinis. In their left hands each holds a skull bowl. His khatvanga (tantric staff) is at his left side.
Delight in the elegance and exclusivity of this Padmasambha depiction, seated on a lotus with his consort in Yab-Yum pose. His posture symbolizes strength and wisdom, while his left side is adorned with his tantric Khatvanga. The perfect addition to any room striving for enlightenment.
