Sahasrabhuja Lokeshvara, the cosmic manifestation of Avalokiteshvara, is depicted with eleven heads and a thousand arms.

The central statue shows him with eleven heads and eight arms. In his hands, Sahasrabhuja Avalokiteshvara holds or shows various symbolic objects: a rosary, a lotus flower, the wheel of teaching, a bow and arrow, the gesture of generosity (varadamudra), the gesture of charity and an amrita vase. The front hands are folded in front of the chest and hold the precious jewel. Other arms are arranged in a semicircular arc to the left and right of the figure, with an eye on each palm.

The eleven heads of the figure represent different aspects of his nature: nine have a peaceful expression, while the tenth face looks fearsome, the better to ward off demons. The eleventh head at the top represents his spiritual parent, Tathagata, Amitabha Buddha.
