This Buddhist crystal vajra, or by its Tibetan name Dorje, is also called the thunderbolt. Its name, derived from the Sanskrit word for "thunderbolt," evokes a feeling of power, strength and enlightenment.

The Vajra represents the indestructible and diamond-like nature of enlightenment. It is a symbol of limitless power.

In Tantra, the vajra symbolizes the male principle when held in the right hand. Its counterpart, a bell, symbolizes the female principle when held in the left hand. The interaction leads to enlightenment.

The vajra could also be called a symbol of enlightenment, as it embodies qualities such as strength, clarity and spiritual power. It serves as a ritual tool and a reminder of the practitioner's path to wisdom, compassion and the realization of the ultimate truth.

Handcrafted in Nepal, this crystal vajra reflects the rich artistic traditions of the Himalayan region. The red and green stones embedded in the filigree motifs add color and vibrancy to the work. Symbolically, red represents passion, energy and power, while green represents growth, harmony and balance. Together, these stones create a harmonious balance of energies, making the crystal vajra a powerful tool for spiritual practices and meditation.

This Buddhist artwork not only serves as a beautiful decorative object but also has a deep spiritual meaning. It can be placed as a centerpiece in your meditation room, altar or sacred space to enhance the ambience and create an atmosphere of peace and serenity.

The Vajra (Dorje) has four arrows and the tips are closed. So it appears in the shape of a lotus bud. A fifth arrow runs through the middle of the Vajra so that there are 5 arrows. Thus the Vajra represents the 5 bodies of the Dhyani Buddhas.
