Vasudhara Devi, the Goddess of Prosperity, embodies the preservation of all qualities and treasures essential for a life of abundance and necessity. This figure symbolizes material wealth and spiritual fulfillment.
Vasudhara sits upon a lotus base in Lalitasana, with one leg resting on a small platform, a water vessel. Her three faces represent perfect compassion, wisdom comprehension, awareness, and insight into the past, present, and future. She wears a crown and the full adornment of a Bodhisattva. The six arms of the deity hold her attributes. With her three left hands, she holds a water vessel, a rice stalk for abundant harvests and earthly benefits, and a book of wisdom. The three right hands hold a rosary, a mirror, and demonstrate the gift-giving gesture, Varada Mudra.
The statue of Vasudhara Devi is decorated with fine filigree ornaments, platinum and gold plated. The detailed statue is suitable as an adornment for a Buddhist altar and home.
