The Vajrasattva Shakti Statue combines refined craftsmanship and profound spiritual symbolism. This intricately crafted collectible piece from Nepal depicts Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of purification, in close association with his consort Vajragarvi. Together, they embody the inseparable connection of wisdom and compassion.
Vajrasattva and his consort wear the crown, jewelry, and scarves characteristic of a Bodhisattva. Vajrasattva is seated in Lotus Asana, the meditative posture, with his consort on his lap. She emanates strength and grace, carrying a Kapala (skull cup) in her left hand and a Vajra in her right hand, symbolizing the transforming power of purification. He holds the Vajra in his right hand and the Ghanta (bell) in his left hand, behind her shoulder blades.
His robe and the Lotus base are decorated with silvered filigree ornaments in spiral shapes and floral patterns, accented with colored stones.
Viewing this sculpture reveals the meticulous craftsmanship and serene spiritual presence. The statue is suitable as a special accent on a Buddhist altar, as a decorative element in a living space, or as a gift for those who appreciate Asian art and spiritual symbols.
