The Vajrasattva Shakti Statue combines exquisite craftsmanship with profound spiritual symbolism. This intricately crafted collectible from Nepal depicts Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of Purification, in close union with his consort Vajragarvi. Together, they embody the inseparable connection of wisdom and compassion.
Vajrasattva and his consort wear the crown, jewelry, and scarves characteristic of Bodhisattvas. Vajrasattva is seated in the Lotus Posture, the meditative stance, with his consort resting on his lap. She radiates strength and grace, holding a Kapala (Skull Bowl) in her left hand and a Vajra in her right hand, symbolizing the transformative power of purification. He holds the Vajra in his right hand and the Ghanta (Bell) in his left hand, positioned behind his shoulder blades.
His garment and the Lotus base are adorned with silvered filigree ornaments in spiral and floral patterns, accented with colored stones.
Observing this sculpture reveals meticulous craftsmanship and a calm spiritual presence. The statue is suitable as a special accent on a Buddhist altar, as a decorative element in the home, or as a gift for individuals who appreciate Asian art and spiritual symbols.
A copper statue cast using the traditional lost-wax process, decorated with fine filigree, silvered and gilded, and set with colored stones. The faces are gilded. The figure is patinated for an antique finish. Handcrafted in Nepal.

The facial painting is a cold gold application and water-soluble.
