Stupa for the Buddhist altar. It stands on a multi-tiered, square base made of copper. Each level is adorned with fine filigree in floral and geometric patterns, accented with colored stones. Above the base rises the dome made of crystal. On the dome, there are 4 small votive plaques featuring images of Buddha. They correspond to the 4 cardinal directions.

The stupa, or in Tibetan Chörten, represents the Buddhist universe and serves as a Buddhist shrine. These structures have square and round elements, displaying spires or tiers. Each spire or tier symbolizes a heaven, with the highest point representing the apex of Mount Sumeru, a mythical mountain where the Bodhicitta transitions into the Sunya (emptiness).

A stupa serves as a spiritual symbol and object of veneration on the Buddhist altar. It represents the enlightened mind of Buddha as well as his teachings (Dharma) and is considered a microcosm of the universe.
