Created in the workshop of Shanta Shakya in Patan, Nepal. One of a kind.

This copper bottle is designed as a Buddhist altar vessel with filigree ornament and colored stone settings in the tradition of Himalayan ritual art.

The bottle is cylindrical in form and fitted with a screw cap. It can be used as part of the furnishings of a Buddhist altar.

The body is decorated using filigree technique. Fine wires are shaped into spiral forms, filled with small arched elements, and assembled into continuous ornaments. Colored stones are set into the filigree structure, forming floral motifs.

The copper vessels stand in the tradition of Buddhist altar furnishings, in which form and ornamental execution are conceived as a unified design.
