Chenrezig Statue – Buddhist Figure

Small gold-plated Chenrezig statue. Known in Sanskrit as Avalokiteshvara, Chenrezig embodies universal compassion. He sits in padma asana on a lotus pedestal. In this four-armed form, his front hands are joined at the heart, holding the wish-fulfilling jewel. His upper right hand holds a mala, while his upper left hand holds the stem of a lotus blossoming at his shoulder.

The detailed figure is cast using a modern process. Position and attributes follow the traditional iconography of Vajrayana Buddhism. It is suitable for a Buddhist home altar or meditation room and can also be part of an Asian art collection. The statue can be presented freestanding.
